ByLola was first opened in 1964 in Barcelona by Carla's grandmother Dolores as a perfume and beauty shop. After losing her battle to Alzheimer’s in 2020, Carla decided to reopen her beloved shop, this time making soy wax candles to keep her story alive.

ByLola makes natural soy candles in different scents, shapes and colours that are paraben and cruelty free to make you feel comfortable in your own home. We believe that it all comes down to feeling good and enjoying the space that surrounds us as this is an absolutely vital part of one’s well being.

Our products are vegan, cruelty free and paraben free. They are handmade locally in small batches in SW London. We only use soy wax, which is both natural and biodegradable and also burns more cleanly than paraffin wax with less of a soot build up. All the packaging used is either upcycled or recycled, making sure there is no plastic involved.

Our candles are a love letter to oneself, a constant reminder that you are enough, that you are worth it and that you can do anything you set your mind into.
