Morris Prints

I am a self-taught artist residing in Hampshire, wife to Mike and a mum to my now  20 year old daughter Ellie. I was born in the Philippines and heavily inspired by nature. In 2021, I started using watercolours and gouache on different types of rice papers influenced by my long-standing love for 18^th century chinoiserie. I am particularly fascinated by the Chinese pictorial wallpapers installed in historic houses and continue to be compelled by them to create these artworks. Digitally edited by my brother Nathaniel, the original paintings are then transformed into archival prints, using giclée printing technology. With this amazing printing process, we are ensured of faithful reproductions and superior quality prints to last a lifetime. I truly hope you’ll like them.

Nathaniel is a multi-media artist born and based in Manila, Philippines. He studied Fine Arts, initially with a major in painting and later shifted on to advertising. After university he worked as an illustrator, then in animation when he was trained in Japan. He was also an interior artist in Kuwait for a few years, painting murals and wall designs by commission. He has conducted summer art workshops for children and held exhibits in Manila to display his personal artworks. He enjoys creating digital art, which is what you shall see displayed here. I feel blessed to have him and us, sharing our art and working together, even at a distance.
